Piano/Theory/Music History through Arts Group class (4-5 years old) This program is designed for children ages 3-4-5 who are not yet ready for weekly private lessons. The weekly class consists of two closely related parts and contains a variety of concepts and experiences. In the first part of the lessons the emphasis will be placed on the development of basic music vocabulary and basic music theory to provide the student with the necessary tools of musicianship. The major orientation is to the keyboard, keyboard-playing hand position, and keyboard related vocabulary established familiarity with the keyboard. The second part is designed to reinforce the material covered with the focus on the additional course of integrated arts - Music History through the Art (See the course description) Each semester is concluded with a mini-concert featuring future music starts!
